Outreach Committee
What is our mission?
We engage and mobilize the IAGD community in external, community-based initiatives. We build relationships with partner organizations, serve vulnerable populations, and strengthen the positive presence and brand of IAGD across Metro Detroit.
What have we done?
- Visited the sick
- Supported Muslims in prisons and jails
- Facilitated support for Muslim kids in foster care
- Led Ramadan activities in low-income communities
- Coordinated community service (materials drives, volunteering with charitable orgs)
- Hosted onsite blood drives and masjid clean-up events
